Travelling Is Possible For Everyone

Whenever I talk to people and tell them about my journeys they ask me how it’s possible to travel so much, even on an average amount of money. People often think it’s not possible to see the world without having a lot of money. I’m going to show you that you don’t have to be rich to travel! Just follow my advice and you will see it’s possible.

Take your time to find cheap flights

There are a lot of travel fare meta-search engines that can help you search and compare flights. Always look for flights while surfing in private mode on your computer and never use a smartphone. Rates can chance from hour to hour and from day to day. Usually the cheapest flight deals are on Tuesday and Wednesday in the morning.

Travel out of season

In high season, hotels, rental cars and flights to different destinations are expensive. Try to find out if it’s possible to visit your destination out of season so your money can go further and there are fewer people at the beach and in the hotels. Also pay attention to festivals in your chosen country. This could be a reason why hotels and flights are more expensive at a particular time of year.

Only fly with hand luggage

Some airlines offer cheap flights when you fly only with hand luggage. So if you plan to stay in your destination for only a weekend, you can save a lot of money by not buying check-in luggage with your flight. Everything that doesn’t fit into your hand luggage, you could buy at your final destination (for example shampoo).

Book hotels the day of arriving

Some hotels try to offer very cheap rooms over apartments if you book them the same day you arrive. It can be possible to get very expensive accommodation at wallet friendly prices.

Stay in Airbnbs

Another way to save money is to stay in rooms or houses which are booked via Airbnb. Sometimes you can find very luxurious rooms, and most of the time you can get great insider tips from the owners of the accommodation. They can give you advice about good places to eat and drink and as well as the most important tourist attractions at your holiday destination.

Cook your own food

Yes, it takes time to go to the supermarket and yes, a lot of people want to sit back when they are on holiday but yes, you can save a lot of money by cooking your own food. Another positive thing about cooking on your own is that you will not get disappointed by the restaurant you choose and you will not get fooled by expensive restaurants with poor quality.

Go by foot

Rental cars are often expensive and unnecessary. There is often excellent public transport that can get you to where you want to go. The cheapest way to get around is to use your feet. While hiking you travel slowly but you get to see the world in a different way. And because you are constantly moving your body will forgive you for breaking the rules at the all-inclusive-buffet. 🙂

If you follow my tips, there is nothing left to say other than – Have a nice trip!
